I have to admit that once in awhile it is nice to have a day of stormy weather. In Florida it is not very often so today is one of those rare days where we have very little sun and lots of wind and rain, perfect for playing some music from the late 60’s – Simon and Garfunkel, Parsley, Safe, Rosemary and Thyme. Reminds me of cold winter days in New Jersey. That album paired with the weather today is perfect for spending the entire day in my cozy studio.
The little gourd pots above were painted in the southwest style similar to those on my Indian Gourd Doll “Bountiful Harvest”. I just finished them yesterday.
I am currently working on another gourd sculpture. Here is the photo, however I have decided to change the head to another that I have been working on today. I will post my progress, actually I will probably post more often now that I can photograph and post from my phone ! ?
