First Place – 2012 Florida Gourd Show

 Can’t believe this is my first post of the new year, it has been a busy first quarter of 2012!  The highlight of the year thus far  though has to be placing in the Florida Gourd Show.  This was the first year the show was in Melbourne and I was able to not only attend all three days and take two classes but also enter some of my gourds in the judging.  I entered five gourds and out of the five four of the gourds received ribbons! I did not expect to place at all, some of the entries were spectacular and really amazing   I hope the Gourd Show will be in Melbourne again next year.
