{"id":99,"date":"2009-12-11T11:03:35","date_gmt":"2009-12-11T16:03:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/debramaerz.com\/?p=99"},"modified":"2009-12-11T12:50:13","modified_gmt":"2009-12-11T17:50:13","slug":"almost-time","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/debramaerz.com\/?p=99","title":{"rendered":"Almost time . .."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>to start decorating my house for the Christmas season.\u00a0 It is a little later then I usually start decorating but I have been so busy with painting for shows this is the first break I have had and \u00a0 with the kids pretty much on their own it is sometimes difficult to get motivated but once I get started it is hard to stop !!\u00a0 So &#8211; this afternoon it is up in the attic and pull everything down!\u00a0 Here are a few photos from last year.\u00a0 The Peace on Earth Choir girls sit on the mantle with the wire tree sculpture\u00a0 hanging on the wall above them. The choir girls were made many years ago with a dip and drape fabric over a styrofoam armature.\u00a0 They were painted with acrylic paints and accessorized with fabric.\u00a0 The second photo is of\u00a0 angels ornaments that I made with the glass ornaments purchased from the craft store and I sculpted the paper clay heads over a styrofoam ball.\u00a0 This year I am going &#8220;bling&#8221; with some funky glitter trees- I will post them when completed!!
