\"\"<\/a>Mandalas are all the rage lately, the one above I created many years ago.  I may try and rework it just for the fun of it. I still have the original ink drawing and I painted the original  with acrylics but it might be fun to rework it in watercolors and inks. I just ordered some new water pens and fine liner pens from Amazon and should receive them tomorrow.  They are both made by Artistrove, a company I am not familiar with but who I follow on Instagram.  I will primarily use both for some journaling with watercolors but also for some of the acrylic inks I have purchased recently., and I think it would be fun to rework this image with those new art tools.<\/p>\n

Friday I met a friend for lunch at one of my favorite restaurants, Pineda Crossings in Palm Shores, at least I think it is in Palm Shores.  I just love going there for lunch, had their house salad and it was so delicious, my favorite menu item.  After lunch  I went to the gallery to check on my items there, I really should have a better system of keeping track of what I have in the gallery but think I sold a few things – fingers crossed.<\/p>\n

Yesterday we had a very cloudy day and I spent almost all day in the studio working on the Fishermen ornaments, and they are coming out so cute !! I think I like them better then the original ones, although I still like the originals. Four of them are already sold and I probably should make enough for both Christmas venues to have half a dozen for Christmas.<\/p>\n
