Right after Christmas I have to get started on my entries for the 2018 State of Florida Gourd Festival which is February 23rd – 25th in Eau Gallie.  For some reason it has taken me a little longer to get motivated and to even come up with an idea for an entry. The theme this year is Gourds Go Seaside, so really, it should not have been a problem to come up with an idea, but it has been so struggle. At our January meeting the members of our group brought in unfinished gourds that others could select and complete to sell at the festival. This is the one I am working on and it is nearly completed.
