To everyone that purchased  my Christmas ornaments, Santa Coke bottles and Santa wine bottles a sincere thank-you !!   The new mermaid ornaments were very popular this year and if I can find the right gourds I will have more of them for next Christmas.  

Now on to 2018 ! This year I am going to attempt to be a little more organized with my art. I really would like to create more art dolls, not just from gourds but also fabric and clay. It always seems as if Christmas ornaments take priority over other art forms so  I decided that maybe dividing my year into quarters may structure the year by art forms.  The first quarter would make the Florida Gourd Festival art a priority, second quarter art dolls a priority, third and fourth quarters Christmas ornaments. This may be the solution, I am going to try my best to adhere to it. 

Looking forward to the Florida Gourd Festival on February 26 – 28  at the Shriners on Eau Gallie Blvd. The theme this year is  “Gourds Go Seaside”. I have a few ideas for entries but have not started any yet, I should start working on it soon or I will not have any entries.
