There was a post that stated there are only 39 Sundays until Christmas (yikes) , and now that Easter has come and gone it is time to really begin my Christmas painting for this year. There is so little time between ending Christmas painting and beginning Christmas painting the next  for me.  I think I may just be a slow painter Ü.

I completed another mixed media gourd last week and plan to take it along with some other new pieces to the Art and Antique Gallery in the next week or two.  I have some new necklaces and smaller gourd pieces.  

Mixed media gourd – copper trails

This gourd has eggshell mosaic, alcohol inks, texture medium, cording and beading on it in various shades of copper. Here is a close up of the beading –
